Signet-PF's unique Polarized Refrigerant Oil Additive formula is useful in many applications, including: consumer, commercial, industrial, federal sector refrigeration and chillers; air-conditioning systems and heat pumps in addition it's engine treatment to gasoline engines, and machining and weapons lube. The SIGNET-PF additive in a system increases lubricity of refrigerant oils by significantly enhancing compressor operation and efficiency and significantly improving heat transfer in the evaporator and condensing coils.

SIGNET-PF additive is blended, appropriately to the equipment design, into the refrigerant oil reservoir or refrigerant flow. The Additive is carried with the primary lubricant moving throughout the system. We refer to the additive as being polarized since there is covalent molecular bonding that takes place between the negatively charged SIGNET-PF molecules and the positive charge of the metal surfaces.

Each Signet-PF negatively charged molecule attaches to the metal surfaces inside the system; these surfaces are thus conditioned, displacing dirt, carbon deposits (coking) and lubrication oil build-up. Eventually a thin layer one molecule thick is formed of Signet-PF in the system. This single layer in effect makes a smoother surface for the refrigerant to travel thus providing optimum conditions for efficient thermal conductivity within the heat exchanger system or refrigeration/air conditioning equipment. In addition, Signet-PF provides greatly enhanced lubrication to all moving parts of refrigeration equipment under extreme pressure.
