SIGNOCORR-M is a two component room temperature cure nano-composite polymeric material based on Sol-gel chemistry. When applied as transparent coating on metal substrates it protects the metals from various corrosive media.The material produces a mechanically robust thin film with anti-corrosive properties. This coating has excellent mechanical, weather resistance and chemical resistance. These coatings are particularly suitable for direct to metal application.

Typical Applications

This relative gravity, which must increase (when charged) and decrease when discharged), is a key indicator of a lead-acid battery’s health. The chart shows the normal eterioration of a lead-acid battery both with and without ETP. A satisfactory relative gravity at 20oC is 1.280. A difference in specific gravity of just 0.03 can make as much as a 20% difference in the discharge capacity. By adding ETP, the relative gravity will recover to 1.280 or greater in six months to one year.

Component A:

Mixing and drying properties:

  • Mixing ratio: 3:1 by w/w or 5:2 by v/v (Comp-A: Comp-B)
  • Pot life: 3-4 hours
  • Dry film thickness: 6-15 micron
  • Surface dry: 30 minutes
  • Touch dry: 2 hrs
  • Hard dry: Minimum 12 hours
  • Full Cure: After 7 days (Testing should be to performed after 7 days only).
  • Shelf Life: 6 months in close packed container.
  • Application method: Spray or dip (spray method recommended for coils in air-conditioning machines)

Application Guideline

Surface Preparation:

The surface of the pretreated substrate has to be cleaned thoroughly from deposits like finger prints, debris particles form release and slip agents or other process aids left from the manufacturing step.

Mixing & Application

The application of the coating is conducted under normal temperature and surrounding conditions.

  • Shake both the component separately before using
  • Mix Component-A and Component-B in ratio of 3:1 by weight or 5:2 by v/v
  • The liquid solution can be applied by using dip process and spray on thoroughly cleaned surface
  • Cured at Room Temperature for 2 hours for touch dry and minimum 12 hours for hard dry


  • Don’t apply materials below dew point and above 50C
  • Combustible: Keep material away from open flame
  • Avoid rain during application till the surface is dried
  • Use proper protective equipment while handling
  • Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact wash thoroughly with plenty of water and Consult physician if necessary
